I luv mah 8 6 but i want mo powwa!
I know gze = no A.C. but does that also mean no power steering?
Debating what I want to do in the future with the car. I have the 4age red top i think it is, the 7 rib block engine so its perfect to turbo but I dunno if I should do that to mah daily d. Mind you I am learning the car now but i am NO mechanic so i need something thats gonna just work regularly, why I dont wanna get crazy with teh mods.
Thoughts?

who told you no a/c or p/s in a gze swapped 86? thats bullsh*t!!
since your "no mechanic" lol. swap in a factory reliable boosted gze...you cant beat reliability of an oem boosted engine.

also note, the gze responds to bolt on mods very well, such as a front mount intercooler, oversize pulley for more boost, adjustable cam gears, cams, and etc.

Yea GZE always appealed more to me than turbo. How well does the stock 4age respond to simpler things such as bigger cams or porting? Maybe even upping the gear ratio to get that faster acceleration pull. Yea lowers top end but I dont drive THAT fast...not yet anyway.

HA most of this was answered in Swaps for those interested. Still tho I heard from somewhere that upping gear ratios for more torque is a nice feel for the 86's
